About the role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics & Inventory Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating the movement of goods, and ensuring accurate and timely shipments. You will work closely with internal teams and third-party service providers to support efficient logistics operations across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate inventory balances through stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and system updates.
Liaise with clearing agents and service providers to ensure timely customs clearance at ports of entry and exit.
Ensure all customs documentation, permits, certificates, and invoices are in order and compliant with local regulations in all operational countries.
Coordinate with agents on the correct HS codes and tariffs to ensure accurate tax and duty payments.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
Work closely with suppliers in China for smooth production and shipping.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to align inventory with demand.
Calculate accurate landed costs by incorporating freight, insurance, duties, and related charges, and collaborate with Finance and Procurement to update product costing accordingly.
Adhere to safety standards, SOPs and company policies across all logistics and inventory activities.
Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations.
Stronger understanding of local customs processes

Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
2+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations (experience with cross-border trade is a plus)
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, HS codes, and international shipping documentation
Familiarity with ERP inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, AMT, SCALE, or similar)
Strong understanding of import/export regulations and tariff classifications
Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise with clearing agents and third-party service providers
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools for inventory tracking and reporting
Strong data analysis skills to interpret inventory trends, shipment costing, and logistics costs
Strong attention to detail, especially in handling documentation and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
