About the role
The Field Marketing & Branding Associate takes a lead in the development, execution and implementation of in-field marketing strategies aligned with the brand strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the position holder is responsible for ensuring that all marketing efforts achieve desired impact. They also work in close collaboration with all teams to ensure marketing campaigns enhance SunCulture’s brand image, visibility and brand awareness.
Core Responsibilities
Branding and Merchandising
Proactively identify short and medium term branding needs and make timely forecasts
Liaise with all third party materials suppliers to enforce adherence to brand guidelines and quality production of brand materials and merchandise.
Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of branded materials to all in-field locations based on the need/execution plans
In-Field Promotions and Campaigns
Maintain a schedule for Expos and Exhibitions across all regions and promptly make/submit plans and preparations to attend
Support the Field Sales Teams in identifying and executing impactful in-field marketing activities like Market Demos, Road Shows and Town Drives.
In-field Advertising
Lead the identification and placement of ideal billboard sites
Regularly review impact of in-field advertising efforts across all channels and propose improvements where necessary
Regularly document positive in-field customer testimonials as well as positive team activities and events for use across all advertising channels
Launch Coordinations
Working with various departments to ensure that product launches or new site launches are successfully rolled out in line with brand guidelines.
Performance Analysis
Monitor sales data and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of the trade strategies and make data driven improvements
Service Center Support
Lead the timely and full execution of Branding support for all SSC sites
Lead the planning and execution of all new SSC site launches
Collaborate with all SSC Teams to continuously support the promotion and growth of productivity of all SSC sites
Internal Team Promotions
Regularly collaborate with all teams, especially People and Culture Team, to develop and execute impactful campaigns for staff in order to positively contribute to achievement of target eNPS scores
Continuously work with all Team Leaders to effectively monitor and enforce adherence to brand guidelines across all teams (HQ, Field-based and even Sales Agent Teams)
Budget Adherence
Allocate, track and manage the trade spend budget to ensure a positive return on investment (ROMI)
Continuously pursue innovative achievement of desired impact at the most efficient cost.
Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business related field and at least 3 years’ experience in trade marketing. CIM is an added advantage.
Demonstrable experience in execution of field marketing activities for a recognisable brand
Creativity and critical thinking
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and branding activities
The Person:
Passionate about Marketing, is teachable/willing to learn and grow in the field
Good Communicator able to co-exist and successfully work with multi-functional internal stakeholders and external partners
Has a commercial mindset and proactive approach
Able to self-organize, multi-task, has a sense of urgency and work under minimum supervision
Willing to travel extensively across the country during the course of their work
Willingness to accept other duties that may be assigned from time to time
